The Initial Stage for Establishment

January 17 th |
Mr. Sun Yanchao, the founder of the Baota Petrochemical Corporation, took over a small refinery attached to Nanliang Farm, which was about to go bankrupt. He founded Yinchuan Baota Auxiliary Chemical Co., Ltd. (i.e. Plant No.1) and his magnificent career was under way.

The Baota Petroleum & Chemical Corporation in Ningxia was founded.

June 13 th |
After nearly 5 months of technical innovation and heavy repair, Plant No.1 came into operation.

July 23 rd |
The Auxiliary Chemical Plant attached to Wuling Mining Service was annexed to the Baota Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and the Baota Lingwu Auxiliary Chemical Co., Ltd. in Ningxia (i.e. Plant No.2)

August 23 rd |
The Plant No.2 came into operation and the Baotao Corporation began its production on a large scale. The first step for capital expansion was taken. |
