The Baota Petrochemical Corporation in Lingzhou (Plant No.3) was entitled.

February 8 th

The plan to establish the Baota Petrochemical Corporation was ratified and the Baota Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in Ningxia was formally renamed as the Baota Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. in Ningxia.

March 29 th

Cooperation ties were established between Beijing Sinopech and the Baota Petrochemical Corporation.

April 2 nd

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Labor Company of Beijing Sinopech and the Baota Petrochemical Corporation, forming the joint group for Sinopech. Under the guide of Beijing Sinopech, our Corporation grew and reformed according to the standards issued by Sinopech and Sino-Petroleum. We were supported by the Government and the Economic & Trade Commission of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

June 18 th

All Plants of the Baota Petrochemical Group were ratified by the Economic & Trade Commission of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to be the production-oriented academic research base of the University of Yinchuan. Subsequently, the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering College of the Lanzhou University and the Chemical Engineering College of the Ningxia University took the Group as their production-oriented academic research base in December 2001 and July 2002, respectively. Hundreds of graduates from the Lanzhou University and the Ningxia University did their field-study in the enterprises attached to Baota Petrochemical Group. A great cooperation was made between universities and enterprises.

June 28 th

The Liquid Gas Station for Plant No.3 was constructed and put to use.

August 14 th

The Suggestion Letter for the Project of One million Tons of Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt was ratified by the Reform & Development Commission of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

October 1 st

The ceremony was held for the 5 th Anniversary of the foundation of the Baota Petrochemical Group and for the construction of Plant No.3.

October 10 th

Chen Jianguo, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region visited Plant No.3 of the Baota Petrochemical Group.

November 4 th

Wang Zhengwei, the member of the permanent committee of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and Hao Linhai, the Mayor visited Plant No.3 of the Baota Petrochemical Group.

November 15 th

The Baota Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. was entitled.

December 1 st

The Baota Gas Station in Wenchang Road was reconstructed as member of Sinopech and put to use. Subsequently gas stations attached to the Group was reconstructed and put to use. The Project of One Million Tons of Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt was started and the ceremony was held on the construction site.

December 20 th

The Committee of Chinese Communist Party in the Baota Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. in Ningxia Autonomous Region was founded.
