The opening ceremony for the project of catalyzing joint apparatus under normal pressure was held in Plant No.1.

The first issue of the Academic Paper of Yinchuan University published with the title written by the President Sun Yanchao.

The Quality Audit and Inspection Bureau for Petroleum Products randomly tested the products of light diesel, lead-free gasoline, half-refined wax, naphtha, liquid gas and proved that the quality of all products met the national standards.

May 24 th

Chen Jianguo, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, Ma Qizhi, the President of the Autonomous Region and other150 leaders from branches of cities and counties (districts) of the Autonomous Region visited Plant No.3 and the Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt Construction Site to inspect our work.

June 17 th

The Committee of the Communist Youth League in the Baota Petrochemical Group in Ningxia was founded.

June 18 th

An agreement was signed between Yinchuan University and Ninxia University to transfer the Wangtaibao campus area of Ninxia University.

June 19 th

The Design and Research Petrochemical Institute for the Baota Petrochemical Group in Ningxia was founded.

August 1 st

The Vice President of the Autonomous Region Cuibo visited Plant No.3 and inspected the project site of the Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt.

August 16 th

Yinchuan University moved to its new campus, i.e. the former Wangtaibao campus of Ningxia University.

September 26 th

The second set of catalyzing apparatus in Plant No.3 was put in use.

September 30 th

The Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region Chen Jianguo visited the construction workers on job in Plant No.3 and construction site of the Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt.

October 10 th

The first operation of the apparatus of the Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt was a success.

October 13 th

The Vice President of the Autonomous Region, Xiang Zongxi, inspected Plant No.3 and Plant No.4 of our Group.

November 18 th

Our Group was chosen as one of excellent national private-run chemical enterprises in the First National Private-run Chemical Engineering Development Conference held in Beijing.

November 26 th

The Vice President of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, Han Maohua and Vice President of the Autonomous Region Government, Xiang Zongxi, visited Plant No.3 and Plant No.4.

December 4 th

The Construction Leading Group was founded for the plan of Baota Comprehensive Project District in Ningdong Base of the Baota Petrochemical Group with Sun Yanchao as the head. The construction of the Project District got under way. The 100 thousand of gas fractionation project and the 150 tons of MTBE project were started.

December 8 th

The catalyzing joint apparatus under normal pressure was put to use in Plant No.1.

December 31 st

The Ceremonial Conference was held for the Project of One Million of the Heavy-Traffic Road Asphalt, the Technical Innovation Project in Plant No.1 and the Project of the Second Set of Catalyzing Apparatus in Plant No.3.
